Interestingly Howe was on radio5 earlier and they were asking him about the Isak situation and he was very open about it. He made the point its been difficult for everyone, especially the other players. Where you have you're leading scorer not wanting to play any more for the team, and the other players also see the individual as a friend. Anyway - never thought I’d say this, but I’m now not sorry Omari’s gone. I’ll thank him for his football performances while he was here, and perhaps I should thank him too for softening what might have been the blow of his departure by his refusal to adhere to his contract at the end - (perhaps his intentions were good after all and he just wanted to spare us fans angst at his departure?!  |  |
