Hutch vs Broady 21:37 - Aug 14 with 976 views | ringwoodblue | Both leaving us and both will be missed but what a contrast in the forum’s response to each player. Broady has been a professional throughout and he gets our best wishes but Hutch has been a spoilt brat and most people on here saying good riddance. Hutch must learn from this experience that he can’t behave like he has and not face a fan backlash. I’m gutted that he won’t be playing for Town anymore but Forest will be getting a good player thanks to McKenna and the Town coaching team.

Hutch vs Broady on 21:41 - Aug 14 with 918 views | BarcaBlue | Are you the forum spokesperson? I thought Broadhead asked not to play in a couple of matches too. Both get my best wishes, hope they both tear it up and look fondly at their time at town. Disappointed the way it ended for both of them but don't share your bitterness.

I don't think Broadhead asked not to play. He came on as sub at Birmingham last week, and this week we were finalising his transfer to Wrexham. [Post edited 14 Aug 22:29]

I make you right on that. I find it disappointing the way things ended with Hutchinson but I wish them both well. I do fear that Hutchinson may struggle to get in the Forest team, though.

This. McKenna suggested, I. Not so many words, Hutch went into a sulk whilst Broadhead still appeared for us at Birmingham. Two different situations.

Even if the phoning is sick was a little dubious, given how far talks had advanced I think KMc would have hung Broadhead out to dry line he has twice with Hutch now.

He claimed to be sick before the Bromley match and missed the game against Charlton which Omari played in. Omari similarly had a sore throat and wasn't in the right space to play against Auxerre and then didn't want to be selected against Brum. Omari was completely wrong assuming reports are correct and no reason to disbelieve them. BUT to make Broadhead out as a model pro under the circumstances doesn't sit right either. Like I said, no need to be bitter about either player who were both superb during their time here. I don't see why people can't just wish them both well and move on.

Think it's very unsafe to claim Broadhead sulked or pulled a sickie for Charlton fwiw. We didn't take O'Shea, Greaves, Matusiwa or Davis either. No downing tools there, it was just that Aberdeen was the principal friendly a few days prior and Auxerre was the principal friendly a few days afterwards. [Post edited 14 Aug 23:38]

Absolute crap, surely you must realise they're two completely different behaviours!? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

McKenna bluntly called Omari out of his behaviour. He has not done the same with Broadhead. Additionally, the club have openly tried to force Broadhead out since January at the very least. It's only because of a lack of cover he stayed. In comparison, we were seemingly hoping Hutchinson would stay. Instead, he didn't even turn up when required. [Post edited 15 Aug 0:17]

Hutch vs Broady on 00:25 - Aug 15 with 290 views | football | But Broadhead phoned in sick the day we played Bromley which seemed a shock to Kieran. Think it's obvious he wasn't sick and didnt want to be cup tied, which puts him in the same bracket as Omari. Both have behaved badly in my opinion
Hutch vs Broady on 00:55 - Aug 15 with 250 views | norfsufblue | I think all that I've learned or rather had confirmed today is that footballers don't play for clubs for the same reasons as we support our teams, they very often pretend they do and say they do but when push comes to shove they are just employees trying to earn as much as they can from whoever they can. We are probably all disappointed that our "special team" is almost decimated now and we probably have lost what was a unique bonding that we are unlikely to see for a while. I have every confidence that he can but KM has a new rebuilding challenge ahead of him for the first time really.... a feat only Bobby Robson has truly ever done successfully perhaps as many as 3 times. If KM can do that now then his kudos as a top manager will in my opinion move him up to levels he needs to become that elite boss we mostly think he will be one day.

Or he was sick and it was a surprise to McKenna he came down with something. One or the other.

Hutch vs Broady on 06:45 - Aug 15 with 3 views | ArnieM | Forest will be getting a player "committed" to their shirt as long as it suits Omari Hutchison, and as long as another club doesnt come in and wave the dosh, then he'll be off. If he doesnt get what he wants, he'll throw his toys out of the pram, and go on strike. He's a greedy wannabe like most of the so called " stars" of the modern game.
