I think, even with Nunez and Furlong signing, we're still in for three or maybe four more players - Egeli, a central midfielder to compete with Matusiwa (James?), a striker and, if Woolfenden's relationship with McKenna/the club breaks down completely, a centre back (Caceres?). | |

They are very different players but there isn't a cat in hells chance Taylor is playing on the right of the 2.
Ideally we get a more like for like Matusiwa type for better balance, then Taylor either moves on or we carry him as effectively the 5th in there. Which we arguably did last season with Luongo. | | | |

I agree with clive - I see Nunez as a deeper lying player. Not, perhaps, with the ball winning characteristics of Matusiwa, but against weaker teams/later in games able to collect the ball from the keeper and spray passes around. |  |

Borders on gross negligence to not have got another out and out striker in by this point really. Could say we were unfortunate with the Azon deal but it was a bit late even by that point truth be told. |  |
