When people stop watching it - they wont. When serious relegation level point deductions happen. - they won’t.
When the gambling companies are successfully reined in ? When people stop paying way over the cost price of merchandise ? When television and other media cannot justify advertising rates ?
The amount that clubs owe each other means that it will only need one of them to run into real trouble for the knock on effect to kick in. There's also an ongoing legal case that could challenge how enforceable player contracts are - if all of a sudden a player can just 'give notice' then how players are valued as assets will probably change overnight.
Certainly potential for football finances in this country to look very different in a few years time.
I'm old enough to remember that question being asked when Trevor Francis became the first player to be bought for £1million. That was in 1979 and the bubble is still growing!

While the view of the broadcast rights continues to go up, or remains steady, I can't see any reason why the bubble would pop. There are other factors but that is the primary driver.
