having read the decision letter it all feels very marginal. i think she comes out of it quite well, and failure to take additional advice, seems understandable given two advisors pointed to the lower rate. it's an error anyone could have made. it doesn't feel - on the basis of those facts to have been reckless. but then the standards are quite rightly high in such important public offices. i feel sorry for her - i have no doubt she'll be back quickly. |  |

If it was the previous government they would have done feck all about it and carried on regardless. And other people on here would have said they were being picked on and it was no big deal.

I just think it makes her look stupid. He had access to a huge amount of experts and chose not to use them. Make mistakes like that with her money, god only knows what she does with taxpayers cash. |  | | |
