Great idea: the nearest we have is probably The Sir Thomas Wolsey, but that's really only a fan pub on matchdays.

A proper Schalke pub, with a seat permanently reserved for a club legend who died back in 1990, along with his portrait and a candle which, I can only assume, is lit on anniversaries. | |

Played in a footy tournament in Gelsenkirchen back in the late 80s, which we won, against a number of German, French and Dutch teams. Was a great week.
We went to watch Shalke play when they were still playing in the somewhat concrete brutalist stadium that was the Parkstadion, in the Bundesliga 2.
