Dad took me to Portman Road in the 60's
In the 70's I went there with my mates.
For the 80's I took Dad.
The 90's was when I started taking my daughter as well.
I continued to take her in the 0's and 10's
Now she takes me and grandaughter.
I'm not looking forward to the next stage.

After my Aunts house on Chantry, where sheās lived since 1956, Since 1972, PR is the longest āanchor pointā in my life. School last only so long, Iāve moved house several times, friends, acquaintances, wives come and go, but PR is always there, even in the bad times itās rooting. 68 for me too. My grandad went in the early, amateur days (donāt know when), took my dad for his first game in 1938 and they both took me for my first game in 1968. |  | | |

My old man always went with his mate, stood in the North Stand. His mate smoked a pipe, the people behind him must have hated it.
I inhabited the North Stand, not with my father!
I always refused to move out of the North Stand, remember the segregation, mentioned in another post.
I have to confess I was a naughty boy but thatās what we did in the early 70ās.
What a time to be part of the North Stand.
