More poor stuff from our 30M+ CB pairing, what is going on this season? Literally costing us points and today we might just have dodged a bullet. I’ve also seen McAteer get in great positions about 12 times since he’s signed and he’s literally picked the wrong ball every single time on wasted the opportunity. Doesn’t take on anyone and crossing poor.

Just back from the match. Re the centre backs. Up until the sending off they were very comfortable and assured. Greaves and O’Shea won everything in the air and Greaves threw himself into every block
Our fans were at the other end from the sending off so hard to comment except to say that I don’t think people understand how hard it was to judge a ball over the top as there was very little bounce and no one was ever in control of the ball.
At half time I said to my boy what a great pairing they were. |

I so wish we still had Woolfy and Cam here. I understand they wanted to leave for first X1 time, but they should have been getting it here. Greaves isn't better than Burgess and O'Shea isn't a £10M+ upgrade on Woolfy. |  |

But you will get those in almost every defence. Almost every single goal ever scored is a defensive lapse of some sort. We aren't shipping so many goals that our attack shouldn't be able to overcome. And I believe our attack will be able to score more. I'll happily take lots of 2-1s and 3-1s from now on! | |

I do think that judging anyone on the basis of what happened today is unfair - the conditions in the second half were ludicrous and the game should have been called off long before it was. |  | | |
