What does TWTD mean to me? 14:58 - Sep 22 with 3073 views | bobbyramsey | Sorry to start a new thread but I'm just going to jump straight in here. I sincerely hope this doesn't come across as a "look at me" topic. I'm not a regular poster in fact many of you probably wouldn't even realise that I exist but I didn't just want to drift away without a "goodbye" of some description. A couple of months ago I received a terminal cancer diagnosis, no treatment, palliative care only and I've no idea how long that will go on for, medics won't put a number to it. Over the last 20 plus years TWTD has been my go-to for everything Town related and not just Town related but whole life related too. "Look at me?" far from it, more of a " look at you lot." I'd like to thank everyone of you for just being here, especially Phil and the lads for providing such an excellent service.you've made me laugh a lot. In short TWTD means the fecking world to me, you support me although of course you wouldn't know that. Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble, think I need the next round of meds. COYB.

What does TWTD mean to me? on 17:48 - Sep 22 with 887 views | flykickingbybgunn | Bobby. Many people use this site as their own football. Knock it about and say what you like because it does not matter. However, some of us care. Some of us have difficulty getting to Town and following the club. For those TWTD is essential to keep us part of it all. You are a valued part of that community. Always remember that. Always a blue. God bless. F.
What does TWTD mean to me? on 18:35 - Sep 22 with 819 views | ITFC_Forever | It touched me far too close too close to home a few years ago and I lost my brother to that awful disease. While not as regular a fan as me, he still regularly came to games when he good and I often glance at the sky when we need some divine intervention and hope he can have a word with the big man. All the very best to you and your family and try to make the most of every day.

What does TWTD mean to me? on 14:58 - Sep 23 with 31 views | Hugoagogo_Reborn | I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through such a bombshell time. I recognise your username from over the years, but the fact that you are not what some might say a most well known poster says to me that your posts have been reasoned, considerate and positive. Thanks for all of your contributions over the years! A friend of mine once said that people are like fireworks - yes, you'll always have the big, loud, colourful attention-drawing ones, which are amazing, but there are also Roman Candles and sparklers which, though subtle, are still beautiful and necessary for a great firework display. Be proud to have had a gentle but positive effect on this site, and I wish you peace, and the best possible journey through this illness. Sending you much love and best wishes, Ruth.
