Early days I know, but at the moment it’s looking like a bizarre decision to send a better winger out on loan. Looks like Leicester have taken us to the cleaners with the fee.

Good athlete, good frame, works very hard. Agree with your assessment, football talent is missing at the moment and that chimes with the Leicester reaction when we signed him.

While he continues to put in committed performances he'll receive my full backing on the pitch obvs; ultimately the fee paid is others' responsibility. Egeli also very much finding his feet - wasn't a vote of confidence when Furlong took the ball off him at the death.

That annoyed me a bit tbh. 1) It took Furlong 30 seconds to trot over there and tell Egeli to stand down, 2) after the last effort a couple of minutes earlier it was even more reason to let Egeli take that one IMO, and 3) Old 'leave it to me' Furlong then proceeded to loft the most dog shit cross onto the keepers chest.

Not sure if it was my mood watching or the performance but that's as frustrated as I've been watching us for ages. Maybe the camera height. I'm not a good watched on TV I don't think.

Call me out all you like but the penny's starting to drop that he is shit and soon you'll be in a tiny majority defending him, spending that money on him was criminal.

‘He is sht’. A young man of 23 who’s been at this club five minutes. What a charmer you are. You are not the first to use that kind of language towards a player. I called out a now banned poster for just that last year when he used it towards AAH. I’ll put the same question to you as I put to him. Would you say that to his face? If the answer is no, I suggest posting it on here is wrong, cowardly and disrespectful.

Let’s hope he or somebody he knows reads your delightful encouragement and gets the message to him. Maybe his dad will write something like Burn’s father did after the likes of you went after his son. I bet if that happens you’ll be all moist with excitement at having made a difference.

As for ‘criminal’ who are you blaming? Must be McKenna since he approves the transfers. Call him out. Get your lipstick out and write ‘McKenna out!’ on a dry bedsheet and wave it at Sundays game, assuming you actually go to games. Go on, you’ll get lots of support I’m sure.

Alternatively, since the club doesn’t know what it’s doing and ‘spending that money is criminal’, why don’t you take it up with the CEO/Chairman? Perhaps offer your services. I’m sure they’d appreciate it and perhaps you can share how you get on.

In a way I was more annoyed with Furlong's than nightmare ball SWE.

Egili was just trying too hard but not one for the film that's for sure, it was almost quite funny.

Nothing worse than some terrible lofted ball that is easy pickings for the keeper deep into injury time.

Has O'Shea scored a header for us yet btw? Didn't he have a good record at Burnley?

The combination of Szmodics chipping a ball to the keeper and those two free kicks, all after the 89 minute mark, was incredibly frustrating. Three great opportunities and nothing made of them.

That header DOS had where he sent it looping back to the keeper was rubbish too, he really should do better with those back-post balls. And no, think Saturday was the closest he has come to a goal for us.

I mean you've gone off n an absolute emotional pearl clutching rant here, but I'll try and reply to each point.

Calling him shit - ok fair enough the choice of language is unfair so I'll say he is seriously lacking in technique and composure to be playing at this level, for me he's very much a league 2/ conference player. Doesn't mean I don't like him, he tries hard but so would you or I.

As for his family reading it - ok but this is a discussion forum and you get much worse on social media it's the way of the world these days. And no of course I wouldn't take any pleasure in him or his family reading criticism but to repeat the point it's a discussion forum

And yes I do blame McKenna and the CEO for some very poor recruitment choices, there is a lot of over spending and buying some players unsuited to the requirements of McKennas team, there are definitely a lot of questions that need answering and hopefully as the team evolves we will see the logic of the purchases and those questions will get answered.
