I thought Kieran’s assessment of his performance was a fair one. He worked hard without having much luck. He certainly gives the defenders a workout with his running and physicality. |
And as was pointed out before, he was wanted by Carlos Corberan at Valencia, which means his stats for pressing and fitness etc will be crazy. He will more than come good, I suspect. |  |

However, you have to wonder why with all or money and options our chosen striker to help us bounce back is a loan from Como who is young, not prolific and has a recent injury history that has severely limited his game time last season.
