Managed to hear Alan Brazil praising Trump, deriding 5Live for criticising Trump and then the other day dismissing Neville for questioning the motives of people tying flags to high street lampposts.
What an obnoxious moron he is.

I don't believe Blueschev was deliberately trying to do that. Like you, he's been very strong on calling out antisemitism on here whilst others have tried to excuse it.
I don’t like these vague accusations as I start to wonder whether you mean me. As far as I’m aware, there has been universal condemnation of antisemitism on this forum. I don’t think Phil would put up with anything else.

I’m not a fan of Jim White either lol. I do recognise that Simon Jordan offers some interesting insights though, even if he’s a tad abrupt. I can’t think of many former owners who are doing anything similar, so credit to him.

Why would I mean you. A J2 said last week, they are not worth naming.

….a bit of a cockwomble isn’t really obnoxious.
Wasn't that view alone that Swailsy was talking about though was it.
Anyway, interesting discussion on the issue, incl giving the background for those like me who hadn't heard GN's original comments, on AntiSocial at midday today, BBCR4. V. good point made about not generalising, esp re age (and "define middle age"); and also that the biggest recent shift in political views has actually been in young women moving to the left.

"The vast majority of those arrests are older people sitting down holding signs, to equate those arrests to arrests for violence is clearly disingenuous."
is there any proof/stats to back this up? as I simply don't believe this statement without something to back it up
Many thanks in advance
From today's Guardian.
"In the UK, the Metropolitan Police have so far arrested more than 1,900 people at pro-Palestine events, the vast majority of whom have been detained for allegedly expression support for Palestine Action. a direct action group that has been proscribed under counter-terrorism legislation."
