Reality hits them in the face on 20:54 - Oct 12 by PhilTWTD | True, but in this instance they've just thrown petrol on the fire. |
Not for the first time at Carrow Road etc etc.

Reality hits them in the face on 10:24 - Oct 13 with 741 views | MVBlue | Its a good time for Chris Sutton to wipe his smug grin off his face when calling us a 'crisis club' which he still did in the early McKenna years, and call his own Yellow club the crisis club.

Reality hits them in the face on 18:35 - Oct 13 with 574 views | OldFart71 | If it's any solace to their supporters they have a wonderful City. Much more vibrant and nice than the main street in Town. Completely destroyed by the closure of Debenhams which has become a white elephant. I don't have sympathy with Budgie supporters though, Carrot Road has never been better than Portman Road. Admittedly we had some pretty foul years under Evans. It could be argued he saved the club, but then it's like asking a man in a condemned cell if he'd like to be electrocuted or have his head chopped off. We need to be aware that at some stage the tide may turn again. But hopefully that's light years away.

He didn’t save the club. Had Evans remained under the rock he was slithering about under, would the club have gone out of business? Name me one of any significance that has. None is the answer. The club would have been bought by somebody or gone into Admin and god forbid have been relegated to L1. Imagine that? Regardless, it’d have finished in a better place than rotting away under a ghastly entity called Evans. The club was dying. Ipswich itself is ok. Could be better and has been neglected for all sorts of reasons over the years but trust me, there are worse places. And yes, Norwich is better. The Carrow Rd hovel isn’t though. The tide may turn. In fact it probably will ans everything in life is cyclical. All the more reason to put the boot in now while they are down. Good and hard. Jeez, there’s been precious little to enjoy against them for 14 out of the last 16 years. On Friday, we move on. Till then, enjoy!!
Reality hits them in the face on 11:01 - Oct 14 with 254 views | flykickingbybgunn | This is their worst start in the Champs for 16 years. It is in the pink thingy so it must be true. So that is what they have been singing about. There was me thinking it was something else.

It can't be for 16 years because in 2009-10 they were in the third division, must be since the relegation season the one before.

Reality hits them in the face on 11:57 - Oct 14 with 204 views | portmanking | The glorious thing is they haven't even remotely hit rock bottom yet, or even stagnated. They've been so used to being competitive in whichever division they've been in that this decade of decline they're about to experience will hit them like a tonne of bricks. Let's see how their attendances bear up in 2034 when they've finished 17th for the ninth season running.

I dont know. I just quote the Budgies themselves. For some reason they are not happy about it. It is a pleasure to watch. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Apparently it is 2008-9. So yes 17 years.
