That’s the first time I ve felt KMs credit may be ebbing. Odd game and Charlton did well but all season we can’t seem to get the basics right. Defending for long direct balls and teams on the break is hopeless.
Then there’s recruitment for the last 3 windows, it seems so haphazard and lacking in strategy.
Johnson- doesn’t fit the system
Muric- less said the better but then again look at him now
O’Shea- what happened to him?
Greaves - doesn’t seem to work as a partner with O’Shea
Furlong- why did we need him? Signed just because of the great West Brom defence 2 years ago?
Where’s the Cover for Matusiwa?
Taylor, chased for ages but doesn’t fit the system

Szmodics - kM said said he signed he was a great fit for how we play, he simply isn’t

Clarke and Jaden - needed both?

I'm wondering just how much more money KM/Ashton will be allowed to have. It feels like so much has been p1ssed up the wall. Half our signings have been to replace signings that already hadn't worked, and now they aren't largely working either.
We should have a side untouchable at this level for what we've spent and dominating every square inch of the field. Instead, we look slow, predictable, weak and as for at the back, it's an absolute horror fest. |  |

The pattern is well established at this stage, no cohesion whatsoever, panic mode at the drop of a hat, no leadership or identity in the squad. The writing is on the wall for me. | | | |

To be fair to Akpom how many starts has he made? Definitely looked a bit better tonight and at least got into scoring positions | |
