It as always going to be broken up after promotion, you could argue that some should stayed that have left but this notion that most of the 2024 squad were going to be around at this point after promotion to the PL is crazy.
It's some of the players through the door that have been a lot of the issue, especially with how they are playing together at times.

Similar situation to Paul Cooke when he broke up the squad and couldn't make it work. If it's not working on the pitch then that's on McKenna and not anyone else.
