But NOT a team. Mckenna broke that up.

This is HIS group now.
Same tactic....different game.

How long will thd USA owners give him ? Because this " form" is not just one season.

It as always going to be broken up after promotion, you could argue that some should stayed that have left but this notion that most of the 2024 squad were going to be around at this point after promotion to the PL is crazy.

It's some of the players through the door that have been a lot of the issue, especially with how they are playing together at times.

Defensively I don't get what the hell is going on to be honest, some really glaring issues there.

Death by a thousand cuts.

Suspect as they stated, they’re looking at an exit.., when a deal is close, and only they will the trigger be pulled, assuming the new owners don’t want him, and don’t want the decision and liability.

Sorry state really.

The owners saw this coming a long time ago, and they know Ashton is mikes off too. It’s a mess of their making, they aren’t football people and Ashton and McKenna leveraged our success to line their own pockets.

It’s about power and control for Ashton and McKenna. He’s just a very talented coach playing at management.

I’m interested in hearing what McKenna has to say about that performance

We're going through what we went through before our last big adventure. And I'll keep the hope the end result is the same but it feels clear we are in for a rough period of inconsistent results.

I absolutely promise you McKenna didn't break the class of 2024 up.

Time to look upstairs more.

I suspect he'll be quite honest. Charlton did a job on us. We didn't take our chances, they did.

I also think he'll mention the fact that we needed to defend better.

Similar situation to Paul Cooke when he broke up the squad and couldn't make it work. If it's not working on the pitch then that's on McKenna and not anyone else. If he is the manager we all thought he was then now is his time to show it. If this goes belly up he will have a job rehabilitating his managerial reputation.
