Interesting. Thought he was arguably out best player when he came on. Wasn't expecting him to be so attacking. The one two with Clark and bit of skill to set Taylor up was quality. Thought he was really good.

Kind of echoes my thoughts below, he added some natural balance down the left, obviously his size is an asset too, particularly when backing up someone like Clarke

I'm not a big fan of 3 at the back but O'Shea, Kipre, Greaves would be an ideally balance 3 to be honest. And Davis and ideal wingback...Ashley Young right.... | |

You could do that and Greaves could even do the old overlapping full back trick too, where the formation adapts at times
You could again go with Nunez in that three again or even as the 10 and just have one striker
I know McKenna loves the 4231 but at times, it would be good at have an alternative shape at times | |

It's useful in some situations as Charlton proved against us, it would be a useful option to have as an alternative
A lot of sides will use it against us, encouraging a lot of crosses into the box on the theory their three centre backs will deal with the aerial threat. They're far keener we try and score that way where they feel we are weaker, than we are on the deck for example. | |

It does make you wonder if that's the betted play to use him currently if Leif is ever unavailable
There may be certain scenarios where he is better option defensively also, particularly against the more physical aerial bombardment operators | |

Good shout. Lets face it Kipre is a defending beast and great ball control. Greaves is useful defensively but maybe not as the main pair CB. As a back 5 or fullback he looks better for sure. |  |
