Before I trawl twitter - has the pie guy apologized / been outed - is the pie guy still at liberty?

Imagine spending an afternoon arguing with a pie ffs - no one can take themselves that seriously can they?

When I last looked Nixon was claiming victory and that the offending tweet had been deleted. Only it hadn’t. Nixon has now protected his tweets. Seems the Pie has won.

I'm slightly baffled that people took him seriously, even before this.

He claimed victory saying it had been deleted because he got fooled by a ‘fake’ pie account someone made to replicate the OG one Nixon was at war with haha.

A journo found a tweet (about 3 months old) that he thought was libelous - it was tweeted by someone called SouthStandPies who tweets about Sheffield Wed.

Journo threatened legal action and demanded it was taken down. Pie guy laughed at him - journo doubled/tripled down - exchange went viral - twitter did it's thing collectively ripping journo to shreds...

Mildly amusing - watching a pompus grown adult have a public meltdown :-)

Nation now happy - as the pie guy (David) has slain journo (Goliath) despite threats of legal action to intimidate him.
