Why are we so bloody slow ?

McAteer, nothing.
Clarke hasnt won a single challenge
Nunez keeps trying but failing.

Ugh, horrible.

Oh, Walton looks good.

Yep, and we're 3 points off the auto spots with a game in hand.
You'll never learn though.

I posted it at half time.

Clearly things improved A LOT after the break.

My comment was directed to the normally Mr Optimist Waverney.

Was a terrible first half - but increasingly better after the break.

Those who know me.. im not remotely optimistic usually.

But, I just get sick of the constant negativity from the same old bunch.

We all know its been far from perfect, but most of us can look at the bigger picture.

As you said, the first half was terrible, hence my comments.

Im now sitting here chuffed that it turned into an excellent away win

But why? It was clear what McKenna's tactics were and that things would have a very different complexion after the subs came on.

I think our half time disgruntlement wasn’t about the tactics, it was the fact that we were soooo slow, and so many passes either went to the opposition or into empty space.

It certainly wasn’t clear to me what the tactics were!

Thought we limited Hull To win comfortably against a side uneaten in 6 at home a lot of positives to take away.

That first half was turgid stuff for sure, but we are getting results, players who are still finding their feet are getting very valuable game time and we're going up the league.

The football is not as pretty as it was 2 years ago; but we have a much, much stronger base to build on.

I'm really happy for people to wet themselves and get angry at the end of the season, but there are far too many nay-sayers calling this far too early.

Kieran is no muppet at all. It really isn't easy having the sort of season we had last season and then perform again with a completely new team, irrespective of parachute payments. Look at those who went down with us... which team is performing best?

I swear this place gets weirder.

I think everybody and his/her mother agreed that the first half was awful. Hence my post made at Half Time (important fact).

It improved massively, we won and its an excellent away win.

Its not that hard to keep up is it ?

It was the comments about McAteer, Jack Clarke and especially Núñez that looked clunky to me. Why single them out when the whole team, apart from Walton, were labouring to dominate Hull ?
