Some of you could learn a thing or two.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I tend to stay off here in game as I have a WhatsApp group for all the waffle, but in the context of when posts are made (HT etc.) I think people are right to ask certain questions. That was a bewilderingly bad half of football from both teams, with some real fundamental issues with our patterns of play and execution of the basics.

All came good in the end and I’m sure everyone enjoyed the win. Many positives to take, but much to improve on.

what's with this need to learn thing. I didn't see one poster saying we're gonna lose the game, all people spoke about was who poor it was. Just because the subs changed the game it doesnt mean the first 70 minutes didn't happen.

So many people trying to win internet points, it's bizarre. just all be happy with the win and lets discuss the positives of a bloody solid defensive game and a positive final 20

It was a moment of dire defending, if that didn’t happen it had 0-0 and lacklustre display written all over it. As it was it was lacklustre display and a good, if somewhat lucky result.

It wasn’t lucky, we were by far the better side in the 2nd half.

It's not about internet points (whatever they are). It's, as the title says, having a bit of patience. Not losing you're shizzle too early. That was a very tricky away game - Hull's first defeat at their place. And we came through it very comfortably in the end.

Despite all the wailing from some (and I don't just mean this game) we're 3 points off the auto spots with a game in hand.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

As I said in the other thread. No one was saying we weren't gonna win. There' wasn't a need for patience. What there was a need of which most posts were about was quicker play..better passing and creating more. Which we did with the subs.

Sadly I think you’re wasting your time, moaners gonna moan.

Biggest issue isn’t the trolls and know nothings on here, it’s the negativity inside PR. I don’t think it’s a huge surprise that our away form is better than home of late. It’s in part how the opposition set up and park the bus at PR, but I also don’t think the flat atmosphere is helping our lads.

Need to get some positivity back inside the ground, leave the negativity at the door and back the team. Can’t underestimate the impact it had last time out at this level when some of those tight games swung in our favour.

there were plenty in the chat room saying we weren't gonna win from very early on. plenty saying they'd lost all faith in mckenna, plenty wanting a change.

oddly, most logged off or went silent after the 2nd goal!

That’s what happens in a game of football where two teams neutralise each other, as we saw in the first half. It needed an adjustment in gameplay by one side (potentially at risk), which we saw in the 2nd half from Town.

The rest, as they say is history. On that thought, time to call it a night from the forum.

In response to OP, it's easy to be wise after the event.

Waking up today 2-0 away at Hull fabulous result and very happy with the it but it doesn't disguise the fact some poor defending (A Nunez header FFS) and a collapse from them won us the game rather than us being brilliant. Granted we could have had another couple but this is part of the frustration also. The first half was a frustration with so much possession but no end product whereas Hull created more and better chances with less play.

Additionally, if no one commented here during the game this place would be dead and better for people's mental health to vent here than kick the cat etc. I have said it before a post is a capture of someone's thought at a moment in time, that should be taken into context too.

Fair play that we got there in the end, can we follow it up now Friday/Tuesday to start trying to chase down runaway Coventry?

Poll: How many team changes tonight?
