25/26 Coventry City Away Match Sales 'Profile' 12:51 - Nov 26 with 1025 viewstommcd

The Coventry fixture sold out in the 25+ Window (Weds). The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 2127 tickets had been provided, the seatmap count matched that.

- The Club retained a total of 231 seats for Club allocation and steward use (aproximately 50 of those for Ballot distribution).

- There were 16 wheelchair / assistant seats.

- A total of 1880 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

All blocks were made available from the beginning of the sale.

Per Window Sales:

- 1131 (60.16% of available seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

- 589 (31.33%) seats sold in the 30+ window

- 160 (8.51%) seats sold in the 25+ window

Points of Note:

* A greatly reduced allocation for this fixture compared to previous seasons.

* The fixture is at a strange time, 6pm on what will be for many, a working day.

* No growth in the 35+ window for this fixtures suggests maybe some highest pointers are skipping this due to the awkward time.

* A fairly large increase in the 30+ window, probably the affect of upward window-migration, but obscured 'til thhis sale due to the oddity of the Millwall sale (poor transport on boxing day, conflicting festive commitments, etc).

Graphical Comparison:

Includes Blackburn (Replay) Sales to date.

We got a bit unfortunate with the allocation / fortunate with the pricing.

Haven’t seen it mentioned on here, but basically WBA fans were boycotting / protesting at the price, so Cov just took some of the away allocation back.

Thought it being weird timing would help me and my lowly 10+ points. Didn't realise it was such a small allocation.

Great work again, Tom.

I imagine Portsmouth will give you a truer indication of who's in what bracket.

From Coventry web site

“We are pleased to inform supporters that additional tickets will be made available to Sky Blues fans at the CBS Arena!

Following consultation with the relevant authorities, we have been able to move the segregation line, allowing us to increase the capacity to home supporters in block 9 in the south stand.”

Have read elsewhere that it wouldn’t be at the expense of away allocation but the numbers quoted here suggest otherwise.
