I think it’s more the case that McKenna doesn’t know his best 11. & I don’t particularly blame him for that, there has been a lot of change in the squad & also not enough of them have performed to a level to nail down their place in the team.

We do the same things over and over and over again. Only a few games ago we scored twice at QPR by going outside the man on the right hand side and whipping in the cross. Why have we not seen it since?

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Negative = longer time to find that click, positives = incredible options on the bench and like for like potential when we lose players to injury amid the heavy fixture strain

The team doesn’t get the chance to click and gel!! As I have said before, we improved in league one and the following championship season when he stopped tinkering with the team so much!! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

One thing I don't really get though to be honest is switching Greaves and Kipre every other game. Some people bizarrely don't want to believe it but Greaves is the better on the ball and is genuinely quite good at joining the attack, where we've seen his 'overlapping CB' move cause an extra problem and confusion to a stubborn backline who have been comfortable watching us faff around in front of them all game. IMO should just be playing him most the time and only bring Kipre in if the opposition have a particularly big bastard up top who likes to throw his elbows about as he seems to be better at dealing with that type of player.
