I think he would have hoped to have turned it around.

It also goes to show that for all the promoted sides doing well, it is a really challenging and unforgiving division and even a reasonably established side like Wolves can very rapidly become totally out of their depth.

Kind of hope Wolves do go down threatening the lowest ever points total, really not a fan of that club.
