Has to be Akpom doesn't it?

Azon just does not quite have the know-how to impact games from the start yet and seems to consistently create good chances for himself in the last 20 mins of games.

Could quite easily have 5/6/7 goals off the bench this season.

That's really interesting, thanks. He seems to have a kind of low bounce way of running - not sure if it looks that way because he's pretty heavily built up top - that maybe doesn't look as fast as it actually is.

probably give Akpom a try, just to see if he can do the 9 role. Azon does give you more off the bench when the gam has opened a bit. But really not that fussed either way.

I think Azon is very comfortable as a No.2 striker. The problem we've had is we haven't had / got an adequate No.1 striker. For me I'd be giving Akpom a go as a 9 for a couple of games, better touch and quicker than hirst, generally a much better footballer.

All about opinions I know but personally feel Hirst is miles ahead of the other 2 and what we need is some real competition for Hirst, which Azon and Akpom aren’t in my view

To be fair to Azon, 3 of his starts were against 3 man defences. Azon against 3 monsters, bit unfair, not sure what Mckenna was pulling there.

A on all day long for me he is still improving and has not reached his ceiling whereas Akpom does not seem to be improving or adjusting to our system at all unfortunately
