After that it kinda felt like a pre season game. Slow play from both sides. Town then show a bit of play to get on the attack we have half a chance and then it goes again.
It does seem quiet on the tv but the game itself is as a spectacle quite a slow game so hard to gee up those watching id imagine.
Stoke players when on close up look like they're blowing out of their a4ses.
Our efforts on goal bar philogenes goal itself have been pretty dreadful and tame
I dont really know how to rate that half really. We are ahead so of course happy. But the style of our play ( the speed ) is imo identical to some recent first halfs. Is it intentional? Do the players just need that kick up the bum to get going. I dunno.
Or are we just seeing a different KM style altogether and this is the new norm so whilst frustrating at times if we're winning then I guess thats all that matters and just a new slow patient style we are to get used to as if we go up that's the sort of speed of play km will want so that we arent gifting to many offerings the other way.
Dunno. Honestly dont know how to rate that half lol.

We have been, once again, slow and sloppy at times. Nunez not looking up with players in better positions and it surely must be clear that Azon is more a third striker than a first back up. Those two efforts were bad but him straying offside just now had me swearing at the TV.
That said. This is a brutal month with lots of games so maybe cant complain too much at preserving some energy for later in the game when taking an early lead. We have afforded them a bit too much space but for all of their possession haven't done too much with it apart from a 5 min spell after we scored. [Post edited 10 Dec 20:41]

Tired and with Taylor presumably ill.
It hasn't been electric but we have sort of absorbed Stoke after couple of early crosses and then made presentable chances on the break. We need to take one and then it could go the same way as Sheffield United/Cov. Your classic next goal will be massive. If they get it they are very dangerous. | |

I think that’s always the case. I’ve found other games quiet when others have said the opposite.
It did go in waves from what I heard, with lulls at times, but at other times the crowd (in my earshot) was in good voice. | | | |
