I’m a London based Town fan on holiday in Melbourne. Had tickets for day 3 but managed to get tickets for days 1 & 2 whilst here. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere and result with many happy Brits in the city. Back next week in time for the Pompey match - if I can get a ticket!! | | | |

Glad to hear it.
Still expect there were many with day 3 and 4 tickets not as pleased as yourself.
No test pitch should play like that so that a result in 2 days is likely. It's been roundly criticised by ex-players from both sides.

I forgot about it entirely! Saw 20 wickets had fallen on the first day and thought typical England to bowl them out for 150 only to concede a first innings lead of 40 odd.
Beaten the Aussies inside two days to prevent their series whitewash. I bet they are pretty annoyed with that! Well done, England - clearly I was wrong to say they should have come home after the second test. |  |

Terrific result for England, but I hope it doesn’t distract from the fact we’ve not been good enough this series. Changes still need to be made IMO. What worries me if we win the last Test in Sydney too - 3-2 it was a close series!! Where in reality we had periods during the first three Teat without dominating a day’s play. The Aussies have been the consistently better side in all facets of the game. [Post edited 27 Dec 11:15]
