It's odd how there are certain trends like this that take off. For a while every kick off involved pumping the ball for an opposition throw in as close to the corner flag as possible. I got that it was a tricky area for them to get out of but it also gave away cheap possession and (most importantly) when did it ever lead to a decent outcome for the team that did it? |  |
