For 80 minutes it was a solid performance. Yet so many chances were still wasted. But at least we created them.
That final spell wasn't the best. The nunez sub ruined our hold in that position and taylor was imo dreadful when he came on for cajuste. Clarke in the 10 didnt work. Think km figured that quite quickly tbh.
Wes his role has always been about one aspect and we didnt put him in at all when he came on so he became a bit redundant.
Deserved 3 points. Alot of positives in that game but some minor points for km to really look into and resolve. We get in so many goal scoring opportunities but are so wasteful ( fully aware btw we are 2nd top goal scorers)
But imagine how different that final 10 becomes when you've got that 3-1 scoreline over 2-1.
Excellent to start the new year with a win. Lovely to go 2nd

Nunez (the constantly injured ex budgie) has played an enormous amount of minutes so I would imagine that was the thinking behind that. Shows we definitely lack something when hes not in the 10 role. |  | | |

Can’t argue with any of that.
Our play up until their goal was good, some of it brilliant. I really thought we were on for 4 or 5. But thier goal against the run of play unnerved us and encouraged them - strange how that happens! I actually thought therir goal was a very good one - a couple of little flicks that most times won’t come off and a decent finish. Lots of criticism about our defending, but sometimes the balls just roll that way
2nd half, Egeli and Billygene weren’t in it so wasn’t surprised to see them go off, but like you say, the subs didn’t work and Clarke was totally ineffective until he was put out wide. That boy has come on a huge amount in the last 12 months - always a threat when he runs a teams |  |
