Very sad news that. Had a few interactions with him over the past couple of years and he was such a jovial person that was really enthusiastic about everything Ipswich Town. A proper Suffolk boy. He will be hugely missed by people behind the scenes at the club.

Very sad indeed. A lovely family man who cared so much about Suffolk, and Ipswich.

A massive loss but somebody I’m so pleased that I got to know. One of those people who was absolutely guaranteed to make the day a better one if he was there.

A true gentleman and an absolute ambassador for the Club, long before his most recent role. He will be sorely missed by all, I have no doubt. A lovely, lovely man.

Really lovely words from CC there. Can't say I knew or crossed paths with Pete, but everyone I've seen speaking about him has given a glowing verdict. He must have been some fella.

I never met the man, but he was a universally respected person at the the club when I worked there, and I heard nothing but positive things about him.

RIP.
