With the exception of Burnley perhaps, they are fully into the yoyo mindset this will surely be a very hard moment for the likes of Wolves and WestHam should they be relegated. I cant see them having the setup behind the scenes, let alone on the pitch to fix that up in season 1, although i can see those two eventually getting themselves back together with all the parachute cash for up to three years. |
Somerville was the player of the season at this level, much better than even Hutchinson.., he destroyed us twice 23/24.

That’s the levels. This West Ham side would knock 3 or 4 past us, they were two levels above us last game of the season, and our side was better than the one we have now.
Boggles my mind how beating Oxford is world class and elite - I’m sorry, but it’s not, we’re miles off their levels…, and they won’t need to sign many players to do really well at this level.., two or three EFL hungry players and get rid of the old guard.
We really don’t want them in this division if we don’t go up .., with a stadium paid by tax payers they have more revenue than anyone else can ever have in the EFL and as poor as their owners have been recently, they’ve been promoted out of the championship how many times with Birmingham and West Ham? .., four?
We really need to focus on US.., they are woeful, we spent £250 million to be worse, that’s where WE are.
Our talent ID has been as a bad or worse than theirs. Muric, Sammie, Johnson, Ogbenne, Greaves, Phillips, Ason, Akpom .., I won’t go on.
We’re not in a position to throw stones at clubs winning European trophies, building new stadiums, and even when their talent ID is horrific, ours is no better.
Let’s compare ourselves to Bournemouth? Brighton? Brentford? That’s who we are competing with if we want to get up and stay up.

Yet under Moyes they had their most successful period for decades and no one was complaining about the stadium on some of those European nights. They certainly shot themselves in the foot letting Moyes go and I certainly shan't be upset if they went down, but most stadiums are pretty soulless when things are perceived to be going badly, even Upton Park and dare I say it Portman Road. | |

To my knowledge no one on here has said that beating Oxford was world class or elite. You seem to be making up stuff in order to argue a point that no one is arguing.

It’d sound much better if you said we ‘wasted £495m, which will never be recovered, to make us worse’. If you are going to come out with the made up misery, you may as well buff it up a bit.
On talent ID you couldn’t go on after naming the players you did because you might have had to name players who have been an obvious success.
