They're not going to do anything this season and seem rooted to mid table. With the manager and best defender leaving as well, must create a bit of sorrow around the club. They need to get it right in the summer or I can see them being in the relegation mix.

I think that’s a bit of a cliché though - generally, the clubs that keep getting it right are tending to get it right again. It’s what makes the Prem a bit of a closed shop recently. Just look at Brentford this summer - nailed on to go down, losing their manager, captain, GK, both top scorers, hiring a nobody etc.

Not going to do anything? They could win a European trophy!

Well run? Not totally sure on that, Mateta could be off too. They are lucky their best player Muniz is injured or he'd be gone. If the keeper goes too they are in trouble. As a club Palace peaked last year I think it would be a tough job to replicate what they did previously. On the one hand an opportunity to build your own team but ultimately they are a selling club like most PL teams. Not sure it's the right fir for KM.

Not saying they are going to win anything again any time soon, just that they have a squad full of International players. Their squad is a lot more attractive to a manager than ours. Even if Mateta and a few others leave, they will have banked more than enough money to buy suitable replacements. Palace are where we want to be, mid table established football club. I think that attracts any young manager with aspirations.

Perhaps, but they peaked last year, the likelihood of 'improving' that season is unlikely I'd have said.
