Just stopped off at the village shop on the way to work and an observation.
It’s pretty chilly, currently raining and I’ve not seen one teenager walking to the high school with a coat on or something to wear to keep the rain or the cold out.

I think you will find it is not cool to wear coats in the winter and it is cool to wear them in the summer. This has been going on for a number of years. It can be peer pressure or just stupidity/embarrassment because the coat it not on trend. You may notice that all the above wear certain labels and parents fall for the spin every time. |  |

I think you will find it is not cool to wear coats in the winter and it is cool to wear them in the summer. This has been going on for a number of years. It can be peer pressure or just stupidity/embarrassment because the coat it not on trend. You may notice that all the above wear certain labels and parents fall for the spin every time. |

Cool or not, I wouldn’t have allowed my son in his younger teens to not have suitable clothing on in inclement weather.
