Boro have proved they can go behind and win games e.g. stoke away on Tuesday and so have Coventry all season
The away table -
1st - boro
4th- Coventry
13th - Ipswich
If we want top 2 , our ability to come from behind must improve and our away form has to get better. 1 win in 6 away from home isn’t good enough if you want top 2!
Them 4 away league games in February will decide our season and I’ve got nothing to go on that says we’re going to do well in them. [Post edited 24 Jan 18:18]

Have to remember McK is only in his first Manager job, only been doing it for just over 4 years, and is still learning. Needs more time and more new players (as in every transfer window).

That’s my worry - that we won’t be able to do it -we’re almost in February and not done it this season once.

A lot of it is just taking our chances, today we were pretty dreadful and still had 3 huge opportunities. | |

With all due respect - he’s the second longest serving manager in the championship! He’s had over £200m spent on his squad to suit his playing style.
Starting greaves today meant that RW could stay high as there was no real threat of him going forward which killed us in the first half. Starting Davis would have meant he had to track back. Really don’t think that was a good decision but hindsight’s a wonderful thing | | | |

With all due respect - he’s the second longest serving manager in the championship! He’s had over £200m spent on his squad to suit his playing style.

With all due respect, the man took us from League One to the Premier League and is going to do so again this season. Best manager in the EFL, wouldn’t want anyone else in charge of our club. Nobody gets it right every time but more often than not he does. | |

As far as I can see we won one away league game from a losing position in 23/24 (Watford). We had to come from behind a lot at home that season because we were losing at home far more often. | |
