Happy Azalea Anniversary Ipswich Town F.C. 11:16 - Jan 31 with 492 viewsStochesStotasBlewe

Today is my 57th season anniversary following the mighty blues. The first game I attended was on February 1st 1969 at Portman Road against Manchester United, a 1-0 victory courtesy of an own goal by Tony Dunne late in the match…..and so began my longest lasting love affair.
It’s been a great journey (so far) with plenty of highs and lows along the way much like a marriage or long term relationship.
Hopefully plenty more to come.
Uppa Town.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

The difference being, you can fall out of love with a partner.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

I take it you missed the John Duncan years?

I must confess that there were a few times/eras where divorce proceedings were considered.

I wish I could have. It wasn’t great.

Mind you, the Evan’s period, bar two or three seasons of Mick’s time, was depressingly awful too.

My first match was against Man Utd and also finished 1-0. Unfortunately Bryan Robson was the goal scorer so it wasn't a win.
