25/26 Watford Away Match Sales 'Profile' by tommcd 29 Jan 12:14
25/26 Watford Away Match Sales 'Profile'

The Watford fixture has sold out during the 25+ Window (Thursday, AM). The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 2257 tickets had been provided. The seatmap ran one higher at 2258.

- The Club retained a total of 230 seats for Club allocation, steward use and Ballot (anticipated 46 ballot, 184 other uses).

- There were 56 wheelchair / assistant / ambulant seats.

- A total of 1972 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

- All blocks went on sale from the first Window.

Per Window Sales:

- 1007 (51.06% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window.

- 485 (24.59% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

- 28 (14.35% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

- 178 (9.03% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 25+ window.

- 19 (0.96% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 20+ window.

Points of Note:

* This is one of the few fixtures to see a sale-on-sale decline in top-window sales, but probably explained by some high-pointers not being able to attend midweek, and also those reverting to purchasing in lower windows (vs Wrexham where that wasn't an option).

* Discounting the 'ballot' seats, Club retained tickets are slightly higher than usual (by 20-30) for an allocation of this size.

* Vicarage Road appears to have the highest number of wheelchair / assistant / ambulant seats of any stadium visited so far this season.

* I've added the early Bromley (Carabao Cup) fixture into the chart, although this was a non-standard Window at 31+ I've presented it as 30+ in the chart to avoid need to add the 31+ only for that fixture.

Yes and those threads are the only information we have for a ‘rough idea’ of numbers as you asked.

I'd assume we're now in a situation where there's a lot of people in the top 2 tiers, then barely any in the other tiers

I don't think the numbers in the top tier will be much higher, those guys basically go to every game. the lower down the tiers you go, the more "non-ticket buying" people there are. You're never going to find that out. There's no real incentive for the club to publish it.
