My gut response to that is good
After their display at Portman Road which was nothing short of the worst anti football I can recall watching, good.
And after his unpunished blatant assault on Jens at FPR, Travis scoring the OG, good
And getting sent off, even better.
I like Derby as a club, like us they were unfashionable outfit in the seventies who took on the big boys and won. Like us they suffered admin after the ITV Digital collapse and have been through tough times but are getting back on their feet.
The two clubs have a lot in common, but this John Eustace iteration is horrible and ugly. He's getting results now so they won't complain, much like us under McCarthy. But if things take a retrograde turn they'll want to see the back of him. |  |

Went our after the game with a mate and his dad who are both season ticket holders. Both were very annoyed with the ref for making the game all about himself but thought we were obviously the better team and deserved the win.
Weren't too happy with Furlong which is fair enough! |
I am not sure the ref made it all about him. He just struggled to get a grip on a very difficult game to ref (and it was Derby as much as anyone who made it difficult to). As a result it was difficult to know what would be a free kick or not and what was going to be a booking or not. |  |

Coventry still need to play them at the CBS, which is good at Derby are better away. They still have to play Hull and Millwall too, so could still do us a few favours yet! |  | | |
