| Leicester to appeal pts deduction 13:19 - Feb 19 with 1334 views | Roburmsyenna | does this club have any morals?? The fact that they have got away with it lightly when it could in fact have been 12 pts, and they found a loophole last season and got away with it, together with previous when the club was in administration its somewhat hard to believe they just don't take their punishment and run | |

Maybe one day Man City will face consequences for their cheating. Perhaps a 20k fine sometime in the 2047/48 season.

18 months since it concluded the hearing isn't it? The legal bill must be huge by now and I assume the longer it goes on, the more Man City are walking away with no consqeuences.

Not saying it's right, but no club would accept it if it could be the difference between going down and staying up.

| Leicester to appeal pts deduction on 14:01 - Feb 19 with 1058 views | Swansea_Blue | That's fiarly immoral, but not as immoral as Cardiff trying (and failing) to avoid paying the fee for Emilia Sala, claiming he wasn't their player after all, even though they'd announced his signing, shown the obligatory picture of him signing and paraded him in front of the Cardiff fans as their new signing. And then pivot and try another tack suing Nantes for damages instead (verdict still pending I think). You don't get much scummier than that. | |

Interesting that they have taken this long to decide to appeal - was it linked to the manager appointment? Hard to see why it would be, but who knows. Also, I assume this isn’t a risk free approach for them and that the appeal panel could decide the appeal is frivolous and give them a bigger points deduction - otherwise why didn’t they appeal straight away? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

And even before that, it gets to the stage when the people around them at the bottom are going into games not knowing whether they need to go all out for a win or could reasonably settle for a point.

The PL were arguing for a much larger deduction. It would be hilarious if Leicester were ultimately given a larger points deduction, which pushed them into League 1. I think they're simply trying to drag it out in the belief that they could escape this season.
