| So tomorrow’s game must be a ‘must win’? 08:56 - Feb 23 with 366 views | Benters | If not why not ? I get there are plenty more games to go to achieve the top 2,but there has to come a time when even the legends on here agree that it is a must win game? [Post edited 23 Feb 8:57]

However from a fan perception and general team moral aspect I do think could be critical 3 points.

Technically its probably not necessary to win tomorrow to achieve our objective of going up. Of course we will likely need to win plenty more games (10 from 15 you would think), and hopefully that includes tomorrow to maintain, or arguably perhaps improve the margin of error, but strictly speaking its not a 'must' is it? People were saying Saturday was a must yet we lost ground on Boro by 1 point and mathematically kept it in our hands. Either way its a bit of a moot point and semantics. Ideally we'll put a run of consecutive W's together and ahead of 3 home games a win tomorrow would be a very nice reaction to Saturday. [Post edited 23 Feb 9:24]

Each game is a standalone result, you block out the noise, or the praise, and you take each game as an individual game. We should all know by now that this is the process, and has been one of the foundational keys to McKenna's success here.

That’s certainly what they’ll be doing. Part of me wishes they wouldn’t. A bit of anger and frustration may give them a kick up the arse and inject a bit of tempo. That tendency to be laid back to the point of horizontal, try to take the sting out and control everything isn’t always helpful imo. Especially when a high energy, chaotic team like Wrexham ignores our attempts to do so! We should be able to go toe-to-toe a bit more given the supposed quality we have, yet we struggle with our duals still (still the lowest tackles stat in the league).

I do not know what X will turn out to be. Obviously depends on other teams, and on how many of our non-wins are draws. But tomorrow is probably not a must-win.
