over the last 6 months reform have dropped 5 points, but the only real gainers are the greens (up 7%)

surely voters aren't flipping from one to the other?

do you think reform voters are getting disillusioned by all the racism and failed tory acquisition and not voting at all, whilst polanski has invigorated previous non-voters?

or could it be reform voters returning to labour, but labour losing more to the greens?

any ideas?

I would say that the polls that are used to generate politico poll of polls will vary geographically and socially based upon what polling is being conducted, where and why - would imagine the most recent polls included would have featured the by-election location more than may have done previously.

These obviously aren't the same subset of individuals being polled, so I don't think it is indicative of voting groups moving necessarily from one to another rather down to regional / social bias of the polls being included each time.

As such we need to be careful about what conclusions can be drawn from this chart without knowing the underlying poll details.

I don't think it should be underestimated just how many people won't want Reform

It might be movement of people in and out of the undecided/won't vote categories, which is ignored for the purposes of these percentages.

More people unsure about voting reform (or Reform voters who won't vote), more people sure about voting Green (or moving from not voting to voting Green as they see something worth voting for).

I doubt anyone is flipping from Reform to the open borders Greens but then again, there were polls which showed some people voting for UKIP opposed Brexit so

Maybe reform voters found a brain and a bit of morality.
