I was massively impressed. Friends I went with love in Laxfield and go there for Sunday pretty regularly and reckon its really good. Like Lowers says, apparently it's best to book on Sundays.
I thought the prices were very reasonable - nothing over £19 and lots at the £16 mark. Nice menu, well cooked but not fussy. My usual is the Fox and Goose in Fressingfield, which for cuisine is a cut above, but the Lowhouse is different, a warmer, more intimate village pub feel, but without it being Pub Grub. | |
