'Must' suggests its essential. Technically we could lose tonight, win our other game in hand and beat Boro at PR to take us above them, all other things being equal.

We all want a win tonight, but it isn't 'must' by any definition.

We must win "X" number of games to be promoted. It doesn't really matter which ones.

I do not know what X will turn out to be. Obviously depends on other teams, and on how many of our non-wins are draws.

But tomorrow is probably not a must-win.

No, thanks to two excellent results in the previous 2 games and Boro having dropped points recently. Plus the next 3 are extremely winnable.

On the other hand, this is probably the last chance we'll realistically get to string 5 or 6 wins together so from a momentum point of view it's an important game to establish a head of steam. I wouldn't take a draw if offered now.

It's very important and has extra significance as a game in hand against a promotion rival. It will also nearly confine Hull playoff punch up. I'd be shocked if they finished above us and Boro if they lost tonight. Would take a lot to happen.
