| Another angle on 19:40 - Mar 13 with 1532 views | Exiled2Surrey | As I said earlier, he has gone through Thomas (who melts - one of the least impressive performers I have ever seen, until the free kick) to get to where the ball is landing with his eyes fixed on the ball - he is competing for the ball, and keeping the other player away - but show me where he actually looks at the other player. It looks so harsh. Dare I say that was a fall that would not be uncommon in the Italian leagues… | | | |

And of course those spineless sniveling c***s at the FA will release their findings in “due course” because why wouldn’t they do that on the same day as they unfairly ban a player. Pitchforks at the ready, people.

| Another angle on 19:54 - Mar 13 with 1341 views | Swansea_Blue | “Azon is in a headlock”. Yep, literally. Says it all really. The grappling at set pieces makes a nonsense of decisions that are given in the box in open play. The refs did start to clamp down on it a few years back didn’t they? That seemed to last a few months before people complained that they were giving penalties lol | |

None of the ones I have seen would get a detention let alone a harsher punishment. It really doesn't make sense as it is so unclear. Plus the Stoke player kicks out. Actually bizarre.
| Another angle on 21:27 - Mar 13 with 926 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Two things strike me. 1 Azon stayed on his feet when he would often have thrown himself over in their area a while ago. 2 If the ref had seen Davis' shove at the time, it would have been a penalty. It looks very harsh that retrospective action has singled out Davis and taken no account of the kick from the Leicester player but Davis must realise he cannot react like that. I am guessing the alleged hair pull came before the fall and isn't visible on any of the angles I have seen so far. Is it possible Davis accepted violent conduct for the shove and the panel thought he had accepted it for the alleged hair pull. I would hope the submissions would have been clear but that might explain it. | |

| Another angle on 21:32 - Mar 13 with 888 views | DJR | Concerning the grappling that goes on at corners, why don't they introduce a rule that players must keep their hands by their sides unless actually challenging for the ball, when the use of hands can give a player a bit of extra height and impetus? Anyone who fails to do that should be booked, which if followed through I am sure would change the sort of behaviour that I just don't think went on years ago. [Post edited 13 Mar 21:34]
