Most of the mainstream social media platforms will be the undoing of us, but Twitter is the most insidious of them all (imho). Although I suppose the insidious stage is already behind us, as it’s not subtle anymore under Musk. Even the less worst parts of it like addiction and meaning people can’t sit still for two mins without scrolling are doing us no favours.
