The rantings of a man, without a plan and losing a war

I feel the more annoyed Trump gets with us the more convinced I am we're doing the right thing

Its a very confusing narrative that this war is under control, all going to plan and all but won.

Yet he's begging for help.

Cowards? Didn’t he skip the Vietnam draft?

At least he’s focused on the important things. War, what war?

Next he will announce the USofA is leaving NATO, then he'll tell Europe good luck we're not interested in Ukraine and removing all support and all USofA sanctions on Russian oil.

It HAS achieved its primary aim, namely to distract the American public from the thousands of times he's mentioned in the Epstein files.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Strange. He failed to remember the 100s of lives lost and 1000s injured from this country in his country’s recent adventures. Memory issues? Or just an ungrateful, mad, orange, ignorant sh1tgibbon?

NATO is washed up though. It was finished this time last year. No good hiding behind it, U.K. or EU, any more than it is bleating on about UN, international law or anything else. It’ll be a pretext for trumpington to swallow Cuba, Greenland and anywhere else weak of course.

Might is right.

Regardless of this country’s pitiful weakness (perhaps we can ask that very nice Mr Putin to help with our security), mighty Trump’s mighty men (and women) seem to be digging an ever bigger hole for themselves and one for what was once the west. Saying something is militarily won is easy. It’s a little harder in practice as previous loons like Hitler found out.

It is when his potty training is commencing. He’s looking forward.

Is his approach basically to call other nations chicken in the hope that it triggers us into reacting?

I know the comparison to Biff Tannen in Back to the Future has been made for Trump, but him hoping that the rest of the world behaves like Marty McFly seems a bit of a stretch.

What's the difference between Iran and Vietnam?

...

Trump had a plan to get out of Vietnam

He's about as useful as a screen door in a battleship. I wish he'd make like a tree and get out of here!

But screen doors were quite useful.

HMS Victory and all warships of the RN at that time (Napoleonic Wars) had them. They’d separate the Captain and/or Admiral’s cabin from the rest of the ship.

On sighting the enemy, they’d be taken down and stowed in the hold along with the furniture, though this could be stowed in boats towed behind. This allowed a full length fighting deck.

Just saying.

Btw, all RN ships 220 years ago were fitted out in the same sort of standardised pattern. It was one element that made incorporating captured French or Spanish ship often untenable or uneconomic. That and strength issues that foreign ships sometimes had, despite often being better sailers.
