| Alex Neil Out Thought McKenna. 14:41 - Mar 21 with 2161 views | StochesStotasBlewe | They changed formation at half time and we couldn’t cope. Same old story. Millwall deserved the draw, could have won it late on, luckily, ‘Boro dropped points again so it’s still in our hands. Frustrating as f***. | |

It's very, very quiet.

I would say it was a fair result given the chances both teams had.

"Over-coached" is the latest nonsense.

How can you be over-coached ffs. Can you be a bit thick and fail to make the right decision, or be a bit crap and duff something up? Aye, of course. That's nothing to do with coaching, unless you include psychological work uder the coahing banner. But we all know what these fans mean, and it betrays a real lack of understanding. Over reliance on systems? Maybe. But that's how most modern teams play, for better or worse.

| Alex Neil Out Thought McKenna. on 11:29 - Mar 22 with 195 views | sotd78 | As McKenna said himself they went man to man and won the physical battles. That's then not down to the coach is it? If we don't have the bigger more physical guys then we will lose that fight. The goal came from arguably a foul on Furlong Or perhaps out muscled as the media like to say. We also saw a different style of referee in the second half. Who got in his ear at half time I wonder? McKenna put on Hirst and Akpom as much for their height as any other reason. To compete at corners etc. We don't have the lumpen brutes so I am not sure McKenna could do much else really. My only gripe might have been to leave Jaden out of this game. Far too physical for him. | |

And, if he's going to be brought on, it may as well be for Clarke. Clarke doesn't play nearly as well on the right. It has to be left or nothing. We'd have been better off leaving McAteer out there, who had a good game yesterday.

| Alex Neil Out Thought McKenna. on 14:54 - Mar 21 by blueoutlook | Difference is Neil changed tactics after the break, something Mckennas never does. Just plays that same system over and over. Never a plan B from our manager. |
You've got to be either the dimmest or worst troll I've ever seen. We literally performed a miracle on the back of McKenna's half time tactical changes. Also with the exception of a ridiculous deflection gifting Millwall the late chance we still had all the chances in the second half.
| Alex Neil Out Thought McKenna. on 13:27 - Mar 22 with 121 views | OldFart71 | The difference between Town and a team like Millwall is that they can alter their style of play by bringing on other players. We can't. Whether you have Philogene or Clarke, Azon or Hirst, Egeli, Burns or McAteer the philosophy is still the same. Get the ball up to Hirst/Azon, lay it off to Clarke or McAteer or whoever plays in those positions. Nobody who can really play alongside Azon and Hirst. Even when we had Delap it was the same. One man against two defenders. Millwall had powerful strong players in most areas of the pitch. Resembling a bit like Wimbledon with Vinny Jones. | | | |
