i think Kieran and Christian should sit down and watch some Re runs of Manchester United and Peter Schmeichel and study his quick throws
Numerous times this season and a few yesterday we have the opportunity to recycle the ball quickly and attack but we lose the impetus, its so frustrating

There wasn’t a lot of movement at times form the Town players either.

So it’s not all on him also that playing out form the back looks a bit dodgy at times.

He wants to do it, it’s the dopey forwards not ready that’s the problem!

RIP Sir Bobby

This.

I remember Schmichichel throwing the ball well over the half way line to start a attack.

He tried but Millwall were leaving no space and there was no opportunity.

Truly impaired.

He had Giggs, Kanchelskis, Cole and Yorke running for him. We've only really got Burns willing to burst forward like that.

At that stage in the game some of the players were knackered, he looked
Numerous times for the quick throw but no players were up for it which shows when we have injuries to a core of the squad and bring on replacements it weakens us. Clarke, burns, azon are the type of players we need at the 60 min mark for these type Of break away but also make us weaker if they don’t start. Philogene is not fit yet and not that he’s a better starter than Clarke but don’t think he’s as good a finisher as isn’t as tricky as Clarke, Hirst, well is Hirst and egelli isn’t big or fast enough to worry about. That was a first championship season strength, grind down opposition until 60 then bring on broadhead, burns, Chaplin, Sarmiento or Hutchinson to take the game away with final 30 mins of non stop energy. We don’t seem go have that now or players coming on don’t seem to want to play that way.

The first goal away at Derby in League One was the epitome of this. It does seem a bit strange that we haven't seemed to try to repeat it very often.

So if Walton is simulating Schemichael then who is going to simulate Giggs and Kanchelskis?
