there isn't an option to say that sacking isn't enough! i'm now favouring a televised confession on town tv, ideally wearing one of those orange jump suits and with obvious signs of having been beaten, followed by a 5 year 're-education' clipping the training pitch grass with nail scissors. or a soviet style show trial might be good. or, what about a putin inspired nice cup of tea?

Do you seriously think ITFC can “just move on” from this?

The players and staff are apparently just as angry and upset as the majority of fans are at it, not to mention the reputational damage to the club,

Well maybe you should post your own poll and put that option in.

But in the, currently, reasonably free and fair United Kingdom dismissals for serious misconduct result in an immediate escort off the premises, a letter stating that employment is no longer tenable or suchlike and, if the employee is fortunate, a severance package.

But in the, currently, reasonably free and fair United Kingdom dismissals for serious misconduct result in an immediate escort off the premises, a letter stating that employment is no longer tenable or suchlike and, if the employee is fortunate, a severance package.

Given the damage he’s caused, I’d be wanting compensation from him, not a severance package to him …

That would entail considerable negotiation and the involvement of two legal teams, plus a lengthy delay in appointing a suitable (and probably more competent) replacement. Not to mention the discouraging signs that would give to prospective up and coming Chief Executive Officers of a high calibre, we might end up with another mid-range journeyman...
