Absolutely, Javie Zanetti. I remember on one occasion he was pinned down in possession near his own corner flag but he left two Town players floundering as he pirouetted past them, before playing an inch perfect pass.


Zanetti was superb, think he’s top for me.

Although Illy reminds me that Hoddle in 1991 was very good too.

Recency bias but I thought Sandro Tonali was the best player to play against us at Portman Road last season.


You've all got far better memories than me, I tend to only remember things Ipswich players have done in matches!! Like I can just remember Alun Armstrong's header vs Inter...

However last season I agree Tonali was good, I was also impressed with Odegaard and Bowen
