Something good for lunch choice 11:40 - Apr 2 with 532 viewsChurchman

Yesterday, Mrs C and I went to a Turkish restaurant in Bromley after enduring the torment of a rare visit to Lloyds Bank (nightmare - let’s provide a garbage service, keep people waiting so they never come back and we can save £ by shutting the branch. B’stards).

So a much needed repast was lamb Adana and a chicken Adana (shared - a sort of kofte kebab). With it was spicy rice, salad, garlic mayo and a chilli dip. Washed down with a nice bottle of Turkish dry white wine.

Excellent service, great food, clean, nice atmosphere with all ages and demographics enjoying themselves. All good. Pretty much the perfect lazy lunch.

What is your favourite eat out lunch? This sort of thing, fish n chips, Indian, Thai, pub burger etc, pub pie and chips?

Bloody turks, coming over 'ere, serving good food and providing good service.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

I love Turkish and Greek food - in fact we are out at a Turkish restaurant tonight with eldest daughter as her hubby and kids are away at the in laws.

Havet, by any chance? If so, great choice, their houmous is splendid.

Yep, that’s the one! In Bromley North. Tried all sorts of stuff in there over the past few years and it’s all good.
