| 11 Points required on 17:43 - Apr 11 by MK1 | For me, the 3 winnable games right now are Charlton, WBA & QPR. Portsmouth will fancy their chances after today's result. Middlesbrough are in terrible form, so we should go there pretty confident of getting something. If we win Tuesday, then I am 100% confident of automatic promotion. |
They’re all winnable. | | | |

One of the weirdest comments I’ve ever read on this site. So odd.

i know, bizarre. If we got promoted on goals scored, i wouldn't give a fk. So long as that P is next to our name after 46 games who would care about Pts/ GD etc

They're devoid of confidence right now and can't buy a win anyplace but gonna be fired up for the Portman Road trip with something to prove. If we win that, you can write them pretty much out as an automatic factor. Southampton looks for sure the real test of character and with 4 games away from Portman Road and only 2 at home the pressure is going to be intense for the QPR final game if it means we only require even a point of making it. After some reconsider this promotion thing doesn't appear as straight forward as first imagined. Guess got carried away by euphoria of today's victory over that sorry ass bunch from earlier. Really thought we'd done enough already.

Nope! The pivotal games is Tuesday because it’s the next one. Boro are done, I’m pretty sure of it but Southampton should have our attention by now. Both Boro and Saints can get a total of 84 points, one is in relegation form and one is in some of the best form ever seen at this level. Win their game against Blackburn mid week and they’ll go above Boro. That’d be 18 points they’ve overturned on them since they lost at the Riverside this calendar year. They’re the only genuine threat in my opinion. Southampton could have 6 more points before we take the field against Boro. Ideally we need to win Tuesday, one of the games in hand we have been waiting on forever. I’m getting greedy with that I know but we’d be so close if we get 3 points at Pompey. Honestly think, the Pompey game is crucial. We assume 10 points but 7 could be very feasible as previously mentioned, ludicrous to assume that soton and Millwall will pick up 18 points and 12 respectively. Just not how run ins work, ever.

Millwall agreed. Southampton, of course they could easily drop some points and law of averages suggests they might but they’ll be heavy favorites in most of the games outside against us. Just won 6 in a row and unbeaten in what, 18? Just not an ideal place you’d want to go needing to avoid defeat or something. That said I’m confident we will be fine. Wall will be lucky to get low 80s. [Post edited 12 Apr 5:01]
