Who will be in higher demand this summer? 12:54 - Apr 13 with 1362 viewsRalphinho

With the summer looming and a few premier league jobs likely to be available, do we think McKenna will be a more appealing appointment than Clement, given Nodges recent form?

Whilst I haven't bought into the panicked "McKenna is leaving" narrative that seems to circle every time a PL vacancy appears, I do think there will be a number of clubs keeping an eye on him (and would be silly not to do so).

I'm hoping that Clement will be easier to pry away from his post, especially given McKenna wages and the fact we will be back in the PL... With the added bonus that it will make those lot up the road weaker.

Have I got my blue tinted glasses on?

KM to Spurs still seems something that will happen in the next couple of years.

62 - 78 - 81

Can't see McKenna wanting to take a step down into the Championship when we're pushing for a European Cup place.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Can see it happening - definitely feels too much to soon for Lampard though. Can see someone like Palace swooping in for him or Clement, and its them I'm most concerned about coming for KM.

I don't think Clement will be happy to be a mid-table Championship manager. So.... I could see him taking on a PL ( or similiar) job if offered. He's not a young manager anymore and, I guess, he's hot for the moment and his CV has been rejuvenated. The Championship is a tough old league, and before you know it you could be stuck in mid-table and you're not a next cab on the rank anymore. I'd be worried if I was a Norwich fan that he might be tempted, but that might also make the Norwich board offer him an improved contract which could lead to a Lambert situation ie he becomes sh1t and you can't get rid easily.

As for Kieran.... I just hope he leaves at the right time for both him and the club and if it's in the summer... then so be it.

Frank has Chelsea running through him like a stick of rock. He will end up there.

Would be quite surprised if KMc doesn't go to Palace. Think he'll want to go out on a high, whilst his stock is on the up again, and has already agreed to join them once before (before U-turning, I know)

I would be amazed if Spurs don't come in very strong for McKenna.

Makes far too much sense.

I would think there's at least a 50% chance McKenna leaves this summer, anyway that's all out of our hands so it's best to focus on him getting us up and leaving us in the PL as an attractive proposition for any new manager

Poll: What rating out of 10 do you give to Ipswichs season up to this point?
